Three ways to transfer Taiwan dollars via HSBC Direct
You can transfer money via HSBC Direct website and IVR with no charge (up to 50 times per month) from your HSBC Direct TWD savings accounts into your TWD designated accounts.
You can transfer into both designated and non-designated accounts via ATMs. A TWD$17 of fee will be charged for each inter-bank ATM transfer. Intra-bank transfers at HSBC ATMs in Taiwan are free of charge. However, you will be charged TWD$17 for each intra-bank transfer at non-HSBC ATMs.

Yes, after set up HSBC savings accounts as designated account then you can make a transfer.
No, you do not need to set up designated accounts if transferring within your HSBC Direct accounts.
You can use the HSBC Direct ATM card to make a TWD transfer into non-designated accounts at any ATM within Taiwan. To apply for "ATM Non-designated Account Transfer" function, Please download the "ATM Card Non-designated Account Transfer Application Form" from HSBC Direct website, fill it out and then mail it back to 「P.O. Box 167-2617, Attention: HSBC Direct」. Alternatively, you may also call us at 02-8073-3101 to apply.
Please note: Please make sure that your signature / chop matches your signature / chop specimen appearing on HSBC Direct General Agreement for Accounts and Services.
HSBC Direct account daily transfer amount limit: Up to a total of NT$25 million a day through our website and phone banking service.

HSBC Direct provides the same currency transferring services. If you wish to make a transfer into a US dollar designated account, please proceed “foreign exchange” first, and then make a transfer from your USD savings account into a designated account.
There is no limit for the number of transactions you can make in a day.
If a transfer is made during the bank’s business hours ( 9 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday ), then it will be processed on the same day. If a transfer is made after the business hours or on a non-working day, the transaction will be processed on the next working day.
The availability of these transfers depends on the processing time of the receiving bank.
No. After confirming the transaction, you cannot change or cancel it. During the transaction process, HSBC Direct will ask you to carefully review all details and confirm before processing your transactions.
